The band Oreada describes its work with the word FolkOFF. The band's original compositions and lyrics are inspired by nature, folk culture and human nature. What distinguishes this six-member band is the wealth of harmonies and instruments, refined, original arrangements and an extremely sincere message expressed in the lyrics in Polish. The group was formed in 2016 in Moszczenica (Piotrków County, Lodz Voivodeship) and has played more than 160 concerts – performing at the Festival v ulicích in the Czech Republic, the Slot Art Festival, the Soundedit International Festival of Music Producers, the Radio Gdańsk Concert Studio, the Debich Studio of Radio Łódź or the Agnieszka Osiecka Music Studio of Polish Radio.
Chrust is a young band playing contemporary Slavic music, which debuted in May 2022 with a self-titled LP. Despite their relatively short experience, the band has already played on the stages of Mikołajki Folkowe, Grajdoł, Etno Baltica or Folkowisko supporting such bands as the Warsaw Village Band, Percival Shuttenbach, Jorij Kloc. As Chrust themselves cryptically explain, with their music they aim to move audiences to another world, one full of experiences and emotions.
