Eclectic singer-songwriter and visual artist Devendra Banhart is heading to Prague for the first time. His new album, “Ma”, is set for release on September 13, 2019, via Nonesuch Records. Once at the forefront of early 2000s freak-folk scene, along with the names like CocoRosie or Anohni, Banhart's new record displays a shift from the sonic experimentation of his previous albums to an intricate, captivating story-telling and emotional intimacy. The video for lead single "Kantori Ongaku", which means "country music" in Japanese, was directed by renowned Giraffe Studios.
