15:00 – Duo Satsuzen, Herriger, Matoušek Prominent European shakuhachi players will present a blending of contemporary music and sounds from Japanese temples. The Swiss-Dutch duet (Catherine Balmer, Hélène Seiyū Codjo) will present two world premiers by Elizabeth Brown (USA) and Atsuki Sumi (Japan). Dietmar Ippū Herriger will play the music of the Icchoken temple. The unique ensemble of players led by the pioneer of the shakuhachi in the Czech Republic Vlastislav Matoušek will play his Corona Mundi.

18:00 – Convergence – Tenmetsu Tenmetsu – Prague ensemble Convergence with solo performance of the leading satsuma biwa player Junko Ueda. The concert presents a unique dialogue of contemporary Czech music and traditional works of Japanese music.
